Duncan Bagshaw
Duncan is a barrister specialising in international arbitration and litigation in matters related to African, and global, projects and contracts.
He joined Stephenson Harwood after spending three years as the Registrar of the LCIA-MIAC Arbitration Centre in Mauritius. He has provided advice and guidance on the development of arbitration systems in several jurisdictions in Africa.
Duncan has been recommended in Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500 directories (as an “Africa specialist”), and was named as a leading international arbitration practitioner under 45 in “Who’s Who Legal: Future Leaders” in 2017 and 2018.
Duncan is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of a Charitable Trust which supports disadvantaged young people.
