Jacquiline Pimer
Jacquiline Pimer gives leadership to the Legal Consultancy Department at Arcadia Advocates based in Kampala, Uganda and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Jacquiline’s areas of expertise are international trade law/policy and regional integration. She has worked on regional integration matters – EAC and COMESA and litigation before the East African Court of Justice; global trade policy matters, specifically on Trade in Services, Non – Tariff Barriers and standards issues relating to Sanitary and Phyto-sanitary measures (SPS), Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT), trade facilitation, and competition policy.
Jacquiline has implemented projects with international organisations, regional agencies and development partners and national government bodies in Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania, Rwanda, the Gambia, Nigeria, Lesotho, Nepal and Switzerland.
She holds a Masters in International Law and Economics and a Bachelor of Laws Degree.
