Jamie Stewart

Jamie has over ten years of experience in the energy sector, with a background in power trading, consultancy and utility management. In early 2016 he joined the Tony Blair Institute, initially advising the Rwanda Ministry of Infrastructure on strategic issues including investment planning and off-grid access. More recently he moved to a regional role under the Power Africa program, based out of Addis. He is supporting power integration across East Africa through developing and sharing supply & demand modelling, helping utilities and regional institutions prepare for interconnection and coordinating with development partners.
