Tameru Wondm Agegnehu
Tameru Wondm Agegnehu has over 40 years of legal experience in Ethiopia. He has rose to the ranks of Vice-President of the Supreme Court of Ethiopia as well as serving as President of the Ethiopian Lawyers Association. He founded his firm, Tameru Wondm Agegnehu Law Office, in 1992 and advises a range of domestic and international clients. Tameru has extensive experience in arbitration both as counsel and chair of the arbitral tribunal. He has numerous accolades for his excellence in legal service including a lifetime achievement award in 2017.
He has taught law on a post-graduate level at Addis Ababa University and chaired the Editorial Board of the Journal of Ethiopian Law. He was previously a member of the Elders Committee to resolve disputes mired with political differences in the Ethiopia and has recently been appointed as a member of the Advisory Council to the Federal Office of the Attorney General.
