Mr Niels Schiersing is a full-time commercial arbitrator. He is dual-qualified as an advocate in Denmark (civil law) and as a solicitor of England and Wales (common law). Mr Schiersing is a member of Arbitration Chambers Hong Kong & in London. Located in Dubai, he divides his time between Europe, Asia and Africa. Mr Schiersing has been appointed as arbitrator by e.g. the ICC, LCIA, SIAC, HKIAC, SCC, AFSA, DIFC-LCIA, DIAC, FAI and DIA and in numerous ad hoc arbitrations. He has written several books on various topics of law and is currently preparing a series of books on post-M&A disputes.
